Step 1: Reach out!

Wether you are new at the sport, or a seasoned veteran, all are welcomed into the team! There are different ways to get in contact with us so you can start your journey:

  1. O-FEST

    • At the begginig of each semester, come to our table either at OFEST or the AMU to meet the team, sign up, and even get your first few meter on an erg!

  2. DM

    • Reachout through our socials to get in contact with us and schedule your first practice

  3. EMAIL

    • Reach out to one of the coaches to schedule your first practice​​​

Step 2: Come to Learn to Row Practice 

Our Learn to Row practices are a great way to learn the basics of a stroke, meet the team, and learn about the community!

What should I wear?

WATER PRACTICES 

  • Layers will be your best friend! 

  • Shorts, spandex, bikers or leggings encouraged so you dont get caught in the boat (layer with sweats as temperatures drop)​​

  • All rowers are given a neon high visibility shirt that is requiered to be worn at all times on the water 

DRYLAND PRACTICES

  • Any athletic clothing works 

  • Running shoes

Varsity tip: It gets pretty hot once you start the workout, so dress light 

REGATTAS

  • Varsity rowers wear their onepiece team uniform 

  • Novice rowers wear a cotton T-Shirt (betting shirt) or the high visibility shirts, with black shorts, spandex or leggings
